R2W 2009 Summer Youth Leadership Institute - STAND UP: we shall not be moved

June 20 to July 4, 2009

Represent to Witness (R2W) Summer Youth Leadership Institute is a residential education and leadership program for youth of color ages 16-19. It is 15 days of study, dialogue, meditation, prayer, and site visits to communities struggling for economic and social justice. People of diverse backgrounds using an Asian-Pacific lens to look at CHANGE; using Christian theology to look at justice and love. Try it on.

Registration fee $150-$300 on a sliding scale. Admission includes a $2,000 scholarship to cover transportation to and from Berkeley, program expenses, room and board. Lower-income and LGBTQ folks encouraged to apply!
